Beschrijving van de dienst
Chi Connect is happy to welcome back internationally known Wudang internal arts expert Ismet Himmet (WDP). This time Ismet will go into Tai Yi Xiang Long Shi Ba Zhang of the Wudang Xuan Wu Pai system for the first time, including the work on Fa Jin improvement. Tai Yi Xiang Long Shi Ba Zhang means 'Dragon shaped 18 form'. This is one of the three Taiyi handforms of the Wudang Xuan Wu Lineage. It contains 18 steps and focusses on light-footedness, natural flexibility, smooth and spiral motions to create good Feng Shui within one`s own Qi field. The movements are fluent and soft, (but also like iron wrapped in cotton while hitting). Â WHAT IS TAIYI? Tai Yi is part of the Tai Ji System with a slight variation in principles: It covers the "Liang Yi" principle (separation of Yin & Yang), in wich still and soft movements with fast and explosive movements are combined. While a Taiji form stays within the balance of Yin & Yang, a Taiyi form is more about the distinction and therefore separation of Yin & Yang. The coordination that internalizes and represents this idea and puts it into action is Fa Jin. Â FA JIN IMPROVEMENT Fa Jin is a special movement characterized by explosive and precise striking. Most often these strikes are done to vulnerable and weak points on the opponents body. A balance of harmonized movement that is perpetually ready to strike by using the most efficient path. Since Fa Jin is part of the Tayi 18 form, Ismet will also focus in this workshop on the Fa Jin movements and how to develop and improve this. Â Requirements: This workshop is the best suitable for practitioners with a Taiji foundation.
